Chef Mark of Wegmans   www.visitfingerlakes.com
Our "portable" Chef Mark has been a great sport. This chef was our first cut-out and joined us at many trade shows and events.   Valerie is our host (for the most part) of our Travel Buzz series. But she travels a lot in real life, so we needed a stand-in.
Golf in the Finger Lakes   Natures Health Club
Our sports enthusiasts, Renee and Matt, can't wait to pick up a club. They won't have to travel far - there are twelve golf courses in Ontario County.   Our area includes nearly 5,000 square miles of fun, food, fitness and relaxation. Hiking is a great way to get out and enjoy Nature's Health Club.
Mary Clark Thompson   Arbor Hill Grapery
Did Mary Clark Thompson
(visionary for Sonnenberg) really show up here for her photo? Not really, but Pat H. is a perfect stand-in for Canandaigua's great benefactress.
  John Brahm III - winemaker
John and Katie Brahm produce award-winning wines and gourmet food products. John has a degree in Pomology from Cornell and created Arbor Hill Grapery.
Red Hat Lady   shopping in the Finger Lakes
The Red Hat Society takes its name from the opening lines of the poem "Warning" by Jenny Joseph, which starts:
“When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat that doesn't go and doesn't suit me."

Our friend, Barb, is an affable stand-in for our red hat friends.
Meghan and Renee have so much to explore and shop for in the Finger Lakes region. From antiques to fine art, to foods and wines of the region to clothes - there truly is something for every interest.
cell phones still work in the mountains   kids love the lakes
How long do you think it took before they pulled out (and compared) cell phones? Renee and Matt are staying in touch while having their Finger Lakes fun.   Kids just want to have fun - they especially love our lakes! Sydney and Eric are our perfect "park pals".
